You said words that I've only thought...Jessica,
You said words that I've only thought about saying. It is the creative part of us that hurts the most. And writes the best. It's a double edge always, isn't it? Thanks so much for writing what's been in my head for a long time.Lori Ann Freelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07475399413507876752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-16430732382445625852013-01-02T16:49:06.720-05:002013-01-02T16:49:06.720-05:00Wonderful post! Thanks for sharing your advice on dealing with part of the less-fun, but unavoidable side of writing :)Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14121018905141253640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-83453321641760629072013-01-02T14:35:41.844-05:002013-01-02T14:35:41.844-05:00Red Deer? Agents don't bother with personalized rejections unless they think you're close, so you definitely have cause to be positive.Jessica Martinezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00687450983197064346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-66847481662483231192013-01-02T13:24:02.025-05:002013-01-02T13:24:02.025-05:00"Hold on tight to the little bits of praise y..."Hold on tight to the little bits of praise you get. They aren’t sprinkled evenly." Yes! This is so important. I'm in the process of querying and it certainly gets tough to take at times. The one agent who took the time to send me a personalized rejection really buoyed my spirits and gave me great tips for tackling a further revision. I'm grasping onto things like that right now. Thanks for the awesome post!
P.S.
