The one thing that I found interesting was how more folks than I expected were just thrilled at knowing I'd written a manuscript from beginning to end (amid the whole single parenting and full-time job drama). Then did the additional work to produce a product I could be proud of. Sit and write. It's all about productivity. Personally, I've never met my muse. I probably mistook it for a spider one night and beat it into the afterlife with my hardbound copy of Charlotte's Web.
