I usually try to get through the Google reading for the Saturday roundups as fast as I can in the mornings to try to get in some time. I probably ought to change that, because I've gotten into the habit of waking up and thinking about my WIP for a concentrated time before I get out of bed. It would probably be great for my productivity if I was able to sit down then and write, but I've never been a morning person. Also, if I don't get the social media stuff out of the way, it tends not to happen. (Sort of like exercise.) The writing is my reward for doing everything else.<br />Martina Boonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03358736828122139189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-1069290505977179852013-05-26T16:56:03.846-04:002013-05-26T16:56:03.846-04:00I used to write when my son napped. I also have an awesomely supportive mom who takes him four hours a week so I can "work" It's amazing what I can knock out in those four hours!Oliviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13362385746536394255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-3949811179204130222013-05-26T16:45:31.270-04:002013-05-26T16:45:31.270-04:00I substitute teach, so I have some weekdays to mys...I substitute teach, so I have some weekdays to myself. Like Clara, I try to knock out chores around the house early, then write during the day while my husband is at work. That way, when he comes home, it's family time! But sometimes I'll sneak a few words in the evenings... :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09521465127967341900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-27278415461901235562013-05-26T15:05:02.817-04:002013-05-26T15:05:02.817-04:00I wish I had a writing schedule! That's the easiest way for me to get a lot of writing done on the weekends.Jan Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05581745380932671351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005062827798430682.post-75310846019588181752013-05-26T13:24:07.914-04:002013-05-26T13:24:07.914-04:00Both! =) I try to schedule it every morning for a ...Both! =) I try to schedule it every morning for a few hours, but if something happens to throw me off, I mentally prepare to be writing later that day. I try to write whenever and wherever I can. Otherwise I'd never finish anything!Corrie Halugahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12361676327531522186noreply@blogger.com
