6 WOW Weds: Finding Your Inspiration

Since we are all so busy this time of year, it's harder to find time to write. But beating yourself up over it is pointless. If you find yourself doing a thousand-and-one things away from your computer and your story, you can use the time to revise or work on your plot. You can also use the time to brainstorm new ideas so you'll be ready to turn 2011 into a banner year filled with creativity and productivity.

Need a little help getting started? Here are some of the best articles that appeared in the blogosphere lately on ideas, creativity, and working out those writing muscles even when you can't get to the keyboard.
What do you do when you need an idea? How do you start?

Happy writing,

  1. I'm going to came back a revisit this. Great listing!! Thank you.

  2. Thanks for telling us not to beat ourselves up. Because I'll be one of those who may have little time to write or read blogs as I get ready for my in-laws to visit for a week. And you're right, there's much we can do while we're involved in our busy tasks.

  3. Wow - what a great collection of sites! I'm going to come back to this over the holidays (after the presents are opened).

  4. Thanks for this amazing list. I'm sure I'll find some inspiration in there. ;)

  5. Thanks for the great links! I usually have an idea on the back burner, with ideas jotted down in a document. However, when the time comes to start it, if I've thought of something better meanwhile, I'll go with the new one.

  6. I love your blog!! Thanks for a ton of great advice! I'm your newest follower. ;)

Tell us what you think. We'd love to hear from you! :)
