*** This is correct in this list, but I mistyped it in the poll. My apologies to everyone! Martina
What an amazing list!! Geez, my to-read list just grew. I need another set of eyes.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners.
Thanks, ladies.
Wow, great list of books, and some I haven't read yet. I better correct that.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners.:)
Thanks for the list. I love discovering new books to read and love. Can't wait to see the results.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! I just cut-and-pasted all those books onto my TBR list. Now I'm off to the library...
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners. It's a great list.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I've only read one of those books and it was so long ago I don't know if it really was any good or not so it wouldn't be fair if I voted.
ReplyDeleteThough I was tempted to vote for Vivian Vande Velde's book simply because I've read other works by her that I loved.
I voted and thanks for putting together the list! Just a small correction. It's Meg Rosoff, not Meg Rossum as the author of HOW I LIVE NOW.
ReplyDeleteAngiegirl (and all viewers) -- I'm SO sorry. This is my bad -- I hurriedly retyped the poll this morning because we had it in the post originally and it wasn't working. Unfortunately, blogger will not let me edit it now. I will go and add a note to the post so everyone (hopefully) sees the correction! Thanks for pointing this out!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome list! I voted for all the books I've read on the list that are under-appreciated (is that allowed? Ha!). And YAY! for being a winner. I'm so excited. THANK YOU!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read or heard of any of these except for The Outsiders of course. I want to copy this list and take it to the library!! Thank you! And I think it's awesome to do an underappreciated list. There are so many amazing books out there that aren't getting the hype and no one is reading.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Thanks so much! I'm so excited :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great book list - my wanna-buy-it list is growing!
Thanks again :)
YEEEE HA CASEY McCormick!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are always A WINNER girl!
Have voted for mine.
BTW - Just how many votes can we have Marissa/Martina?
Vote away Ann Marie! :) So many good titles!
ReplyDeleteMarissa
Congrats to the winners! And I voted. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list! So many I need to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and reading my article. Since you're a teacher, you might appreciate another one I have up right now at Viatouch http://www.viatouch.com/Learn/teacher/articles/we_saw_it.jsp
Your posts are always so fun!
We're so proud of you Julie! We're going to include you in our post tomorrow to celebrate your publication! The article is wonderful. Thanks for the other link, too :)
ReplyDeleteMartina & Marissa
I also am adding to my TBR list. I am sad to see OUTSIDERS though. Is it really under-appreciated? I thought it was a YA classic! and A SEPARATE PEACE too. I must be old, b/c those were the books you *had* to read in my YA days :) Definitely a good idea to promote so many good reads. Thanks!
ReplyDelete@janflora My school requires both a "A Separate Peace" and the "Outsiders" to be read. So, maybe it just depends where you are...?
ReplyDeleteI'd like to recommend the two novels by Julie Bertagna: Exodus and Zenith. Aurora, the third in this trilogy, has yet to be released.
ReplyDeleteWhatta list! I have some reading to do, methinks!!
